Taylor Hawkins got a grand compliment worthy of his life and career.

Over the weekend, the Rockin ‘1000 music group, consisting primarily of 1,000 musicians from Italy, paid tribute to the late Foo Fighters drummer during a concert in Paris.

To compliment, the group made a spectacular cover of Foo Fighters’ classic “My Hero”.

Hawkins died in March at the age of 50 due to drug overdose.

“His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live forever with all of us. Our hearts are directed at his wife, children, and family, and this unimaginably difficult We ask that their privacy be respected to the utmost in time, “the band said in a statement at the time.

In addition to the Foo Fighters cover, Rockin ‘1000 also performed hits such as Pink Floyd, The Who, and The White Stripes.

The group was formed in July 2015 as a way to encourage the Foo Fighters to visit the town of Cesena, Italy, and performed the much talked about “Learn to Fly”.
